Now in it's 25th year, the Four Corners Home & Garden Show began in April 2001 and has been presented by the Four Corners Builders Association and held at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds in Cortez, Colorado since its inception. The show is a venue for businesses to promote their services and products, as well as displaying new developments in home items, interior decorating, gardening, landscaping, building ideas and new home technologies.
As many as 4,000 people attend the show each year, with exhibitors coming from Colorado's Front Range, Florida, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New York, Texas, Illinois and elsewhere, as well as the local communities of Cortez, Dolores, Mancos, Durango, Telluride, Grand Junction, and Farmington, New Mexico.
The show also features a Silent Auction that allows show visitors to bid on items that have been donated by each of the show exhibitors as well as local businesses, and each year a raffle is held at the show. Proceeds from the Silent Auction have been used to fund college scholarships, donations to local veteran's organizations, and to help fund community projects with labor and materials provided by the members of the Four Corners Builders Association. The turnout was great from both local and national exhibitors, and the attendance was strong and constant. Every vendor that we talked to during the show (and we talked to nearly every one) was very happy with the traffic and the atmosphere that was created during the entire show. There was a "buzz" throughout the show and everyone felt that they had great results from the show, and a lot of good leads to pursue for the remainder of the year. 2024 was definitely a year to be a part of the show even though the weather was sunny with high winds on Friday and with a mixed bag of weather on Saturday that included a brief mini blizzard in the afternoon!
From the moment the show started at 10:00 am on Friday the traffic stayed steady until the final hour on Saturday.
There were a few local businesses that initially told us that they weren't sure if they were going to do the show this year. With a few exceptions, they decided to do the show, and reported after the show that it was the best show they had ever been a part of! Many reported that they were extremely satisfied with their results and many of the food vendors had their highest sales ever from any show. We'll be posting some of the comments we have received.
Start planning NOW to be a part of the 25th Annual Home & Garden Show. Based on this year's result, you'll definitely want to be in the show!
There was also great food available. Esmerelda's Ranchito was in the kitchen serving Burritos, Tacos and other fare. Several food trucks were outdoors including End of the Trail Catering, CW Concessions, and Carhart Customs. There was also food vendors inside the arena such as Croissant Cowboy.
Show exhibitors and local businesses supported the show by donating items up for bids in the Silent Auction booth. Proceeds from the Silent Auction help fund scholarships, donations to local Veteran's Organizations, and community projects that are funded by the Four Corners Builders Association.
Some exhibitors conducted prize drawings at their own booths for products and prizes. Many of the booths also had free gifts for both adults and kids. Nearly 3,000 people attended the two day event.
We couldn't have done it without the support of each and every one of them - many thanks to all of them.

2024 was the twelfth year for the Classic Car Show. Cars came from all over the surrounding area to participate in the car show on Saturday April 5th. There was a great turnout of cars, even though the weather didn't cooperate on Saturday.
Show attendees voted for the best cars. Here are some of the cars that appeared in previous shows.
A BIG THANKS to all of the people who worked on the show, donated items for the silent auction, displayed their merchandise and also those who attended the show. Without each and every one of you, this show would not be such a HUGE Success.
And a special thanks to all the FCBA members who helped out and went the extra mile. It takes only one good idea, but many strong backs.
THANK YOU ALL!
